You will receive a PDF file of a complete crochet pattern. Finished projects are ideal for use as a stunning prop for professional photographers or for parents who want to create their own precious memories.

This pattern would also be adorable for a Halloween costume.

The diamond pattern also has the added benefit of being UNISEX. Simply crochet using darker colors and leave off the top for an ultra cool merman!

What you will find within the pattern:
Included with your purchased PDF file are complete and thoroughly tested patterns for the mermaid tail, fin, and top.

Also included is a hand drawn symbol chart (which will make crocheting this prop a breeze) along with a thorough photo tutorial walking you through each step of the diamond stitch.

All techniques and finished sizes are listed in US terminology.

Sizes: This pattern is written for a newborn: size 0-3 months ONLY. You can easily adapt this pattern to fit a larger baby by sizing up recommended crochet hooks and adding several more rounds to make it longer.

Depending on what type of yarn you use, there could be several inches of stretch. Finished prop should measure approximately 17″ long and 14″ wide at the waist–tapering to 18″ at its widest point.
